History of the Bonton brand

Founded in 2001 by Irène and Thomas Cohen, the Bonton brand was born from their passion for children's fashion. The same year, they opened their first boutique in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. In 2007, the brand expanded its offer by launching a range of children's bedroom furniture. The following year, in 2008, the range expanded to dress children from birth up to 12 years old. In 2010, the house inaugurated its Parisian concept store, Grand Bonton, which quickly became a benchmark. The brand went international in 2014 with the opening of a store in Tokyo, Japan. Two years later, in 2016, the Éric Bompard group became the majority shareholder of Bonton, marking a new step in its development. In 2017, Bonton continued its international expansion with the opening of a concept store in London and a boutique in Madrid. In 2018, the brand launched a capsule collection for women, Maxi Me, and collaborated with the Sézane brand. In 2021, Bonton celebrated its 20th anniversary with special events and unique collaborations, highlighting two decades of creativity and innovation. A captivating new phase for the brand was announced in 2023 with its integration into the Roger Zannier group, with planned expansions both in France and abroad.
