History of the Lili Gaufrette brand
A French brand, Lili Gaufrette was founded in January 1998 by Catherine Wollner in the Paris region. A showcase for girl's fashion defined as "French Touch," it won the Earnie Award for best European style with the spring-summer 2003 collection and the Grand Prix de la mode enfant, "Trend" category, thanks to the rhinestone raincoat created for the spring-summer 2007 collection. The brand gained attention on its 15th anniversary by presenting, for spring-summer 2013, a special anniversary baby dress in fluorescent jacquard with its miniature replica. Since almost its beginnings, Lili Gaufrette has belonged to the Zannier group, which became Kidilliz in 2016 and was acquired by the Chinese group Semir in 2018. Present internationally, it offers a girly wardrobe advocating modernity, refinement, and accessibility.
